Galerie bratří Čapků and its exhibition activities in the second half of the 1960s

The diploma thesis deals with documenting and presenting the exhibition concept of the Brothers Capek Gallery in the second half of the 1960s and at the same time defining the space it occupied among other Prague galleries in the observed period between 1965 and 1970. It focuses on the founding personalities and recalls important political, legal and cultural events that fundamentally influenced the artistic and exhibition activities of the gallery. The exhibition catalogues of individual artists and creative groups with introductory texts, invitations to openings and reviews in the professional and daily press have become an important aid to understanding the gallery's exhibition programme and interpreting individual exhibitions, illustrating the overall scope of the gallery.
Moser Glassworks in the 20th Century

The topic of the Bachelor's thesis is the Moser glassworks and its period since the peak of its work, which reached the beginning of the 20th century when relations with Austria-Hungary brought the glassworks an international response, which persists to the present day. Specifically, in this thesis is defined the period of the 20th century, when it comes to technology, processing, collection, and the largest event associated with the Moser glassworks in this period. The first part of the text mentions the general, historical development of the glass industry in the Czech territory, which is mentioned with the Great Industrial Revolution, which led to the rise of industry, in this case also the glass industry and when has begun the unstoppable development of technology in this sector. The main part of the text is devoted to the 20th century, when many events took place on its basis based on developing new processes in glass processing by this glassworks and when product collections were created, presented at the most prestigious exhibitions, or created for specific orders. Informel expressions in the work of selected Czech female artists

The bachelor thesis is written as a study focused on artworks of selected female artists, who worked in the style of Czech informel. In the introductory chapter Czech informel is exposed firstly in the context of development and secondly in the artistic, cultural and culturepolitical context. Major characteristics of informel are set there and the framework for the main topic of the work is prepared, in which there is an information about the significant promotion of female artists in particular time period. In the following chapters, the selection of seven female artists is briefly presented. The study also tries to answer the question why did chosen artists prefered informel rather than any other artistic style for their work. Movement in the visual arts in the early 20th century

This thesis deals with the phenomenon of motion in the fine arts. The theoretical part of the work is searching for connections between the psychological, philosophical, scientific and artistic conception of motion. At the same time it is monitoring the formation of new styles of art in the early 20th century, whose inspiration was (besides other things) discovery of technologies, that enable to catch the motion. The practicalpart together with the didactical part deals with combination of drawing and motion. The practical part contains cycles of photographs and drawings on the topic of "Elements", then there are several proposals of simple tasks easing the creative expression of pupils in the sixth year of primary school, which lead to build a simple optical instrument. This resulting project is also a part of the actual art work.
